overall good experience. i joined with some basic knowledge and wanted to understand product design properly. the project sessions helped me a lot. mistakes toh hue kaafi 😂 but getting feedback helped me understand where i was going wrong. slowly i started getting more confidence in my work.

i had some basic knowledge of ui before joining but i didnt know how to build a complete product. i was mostly focusing on how the screen looks. during the projects i started understanding user flows and why we make certain design decisions. ishtiaq sir also gave feedback on small things which helped me improve.

good experience with prodxverse. i liked that we were not only watching classes and taking notes. we had to actually work on things and then show our work. jab khud karte ho tab pata chalta hai ki kya samajh aaya and kya nahi 😅. that part helped me a lot.

one thing i understood here is that product design is not only about making good looking screens. before joining i was mostly focused on ui and colours and making everything look clean. now i try to understand the problem first and then think about the design. still learning but my approach is definitely different now.

the project reviews were really helpful for me. sometimes i used to think okay this is correct but after showing it ishtiaq sir would ask one small question and then i would realise ohh i didnt think about that 😅. those discussions helped me understand the thinking behind the design.

i was confused about whether i should go for ui ux or product design. i liked designing but i didnt really know what product designers actually do. after working on different projects i got a much better understanding of the role. i still have a lot to learn but now i know what i need to work on.

the practical part was what i liked the most. we learn something and then actually use it in the project. sometimes i made mistakes and had to change things again but that helped me understand the topic better. for me this was more useful than just watching classes.

earlier i used to think if the ui looks good then the design is good. bas 😅. i didnt really think about the user or why a particular flow is needed. after working on the projects i understood that there has to be some reason behind the design. simple thing but i was not thinking like that before.
